Meet the Crew Chief!

I'm Archer, and I've been the one behind Cruisin' for Causes for a couple years. I have always tried to give back to the community someway. A good friend who I consider family had started Cruisin' for Causes a while back, and entrusted me to build and grow it. I spent the last 4 years working at Bandimere Speedway as security, and had the opportunity to work almost every event, I even won Best in Show at the KBPI Rock and Roll Car Show while I was clocked in! Currently I'm doing funeral escorts and VIP escorts, meaning I get to work around cars still!

I have always had a love of cars, and have had a wide variety of vehicles in my driveway. Everything from an imported JDM RHD Suzuki Cappuccino, to a lifted offroad Crown Vic with a Days of Thunder wrap on it, I'm not afraid to own any car! Currently I own the Bandimere Security Police Crown Victoria that I'm planning a twin turbo build in. I also own one of the rarest police cars in America, a 2020 Ford Police Responder Hybrid Sedan SSV, the police model of the ford fusion, and currently am having it upfitted to be an escort vehicle.

The Cruisin' for Causes Story

Cruisin' for Causes was started in 2022, with the community at our core. After being around for a few years, we have made tons of connections within the community.

2022 wasn't the busiest year for us, as we were just starting and breaking ground. Our first event was a CarsGiving event, where about 5 of us all got together in Castle Rock to celebrate the kickoff of Cruisin' for Causes, and everyone who attended that first event is still a part of Cruisin' today! Our very next event was only a few weeks later, and it kicked off our great relationship with the Arvada Police Department and Arvada Fire Protection District, and this was our first annual Teddy Bear and Toy Drive Car Show! APD collected stuffed animals and teddy bears to stock their cruisers for when they come across a call with a child involved, the stuffed animals are a comforting and warm item for children involved in a tough situation.

2023 would be our first full calendar year, and we had tons of fun! We started with a car meet at Colorado Mills Mall to visit our friends at Rodz and Bodz Movie Car Museum. We got to tour the amazing collection inside, and see quite the variety in the parking lot. We then had a big ole Free Car Show and Food Truck Carnival at the business center where Deco Tint, Wrap, PPF is located. This event had over 10 local vendors, half a dozen food trucks, and OVER 1,000 people in attendance! This event raised over $500 for the Denver Police Foundation. Then the summer of '23, we introduced Pre-2k, a car show for all things 2000 and older. We had live music, a few food trucks, and OVER 100 vehicle entries. This was the first year of the event, but we still donated OVER $1,100 to Pomona High School. We closed out the year with a second Teddy Bear and Toy Drive for APD and AFPD, collecting thousands of stuffed animals, and hundreds of toys.

2024 came as a VERY busy summer for everyone in the Cruisin' for Causes Family, so we had to learn how to stay active in the community while also managing all outside factors. 2024 Brought back Pre-2k for its second annual event. This year still having over 100 vehicle entries, and OVER $1500 donated to Arvada High School. This year, we found a safe place in Arvada High School, always willing to work with us on events and always having staff members at our events. We held a Trunk or Treat at AHS and brought in hundreds of families, giving them a safe space to get Halloween candy! 2024 is ending with our toy drive car show, with a TWIST! While organizing this year's toy drive, we were informed that the APD stuffed animal closet was overflowing from last year, and they had no more space. Instead, they suggested a toy collection for one of the holiday toy drives they participate in. To keep the tradition of supporting both Police and Fire, we decided to hold one giant toy drive, but a friendly competition of which department will be able to collect more toys!

2025 will have some new additions and changes, but we promise, we are staying in the community, and putting community first!!!
